US Department Of Defense Win
First stage US DoD order for 2G/3G/LTE Secure Mobile Network
SiRRAN Communications has been awarded a new contract to supply core wireless network technology and interconnects to a US Department of Defense (DOD) client. The award is the first stage of a private secure network for DOD mobility, to be enabled by SiRRAN’s Secure Mobile technology.
SiRRAN Communications will supply network core technologies for a private 2G, 3G and LTE network for use in development of DOD solutions for increased use of mobile devices by personnel across military, and their support contractors.
The award covers the technology required to deploy the operating infrastructure for the network, to be followed by optional further purchases of SiRRAN’s Secure Mobile technologies; including Secure Mobile, Secure Mobile Server, SiRRAN Hybrid Calling between secure and non-secure devices and SiRRAN’s range of field-deployable macrocells that extend the secure core network to anywhere on earth.
“This is a first step to enable a complete global secure wireless networking capability for our client“, said Rob Koldys, Managing Director of SiRRAN Communications. “The award further confirms SiRRAN Secure Mobile’s global leadership position for encrypted communications for government, military and civilian use.”
David Howgill, VP Secure Mobile, will be at the AUSA Show in Washington DC from 22nd to 24th October. Please contact SiRRAN Communications to set up an appointment to learn about effective end-to-end solutions for mobile networking and encryption.
